Here's how it works:
- First, the automation opens LinkedIn and checks to ensure you are already signed in. If not, it will stop, prompting you to log in before trying again.
- It then navigates directly to the specified LinkedIn profile page.
- The automation intelligently checks if you are already connected to the person. If you are, it concludes the process, reporting that you're already a 1st-degree connection.
- If you are not connected, it locates and clicks the "Connect" button. The automation is built to be robust, checking for the button in multiple common locations on the profile page.
- A connection modal will appear. If you provided a custom message, the automation will add it as a note before sending the request. If you left the message blank, it will send the request without a note.
- The automation also includes logic to detect and dismiss common popups that might interfere with the process, ensuring a higher success rate.
