This automation acts as your personal career tracker for a list of contacts. Here’s how it works:
  1. Read Your List: It starts by reading a list of people from a Google Sheet you provide. It expects to find columns for their LinkedIn profile URL, name, and current job details (company, title, location).
  2. Check LinkedIn: For each person on your list, the automation securely accesses their LinkedIn profile to retrieve their most up-to-date career information.
  3. Compare and Detect: It compares the fresh data from LinkedIn with the information you have stored in your Google Sheet.
  4. Update Your Sheet: If it finds any differences—a new job, a promotion, or a move to a new city—it automatically updates the corresponding row in your Google Sheet with the new details.
  5. Notify You: After checking all profiles, if any changes were found, it sends a single, consolidated email to an address you specify. This email neatly summarizes all the updates, letting you know who changed jobs and what's new.
If no changes are detected, the automation simply finishes its run without sending an email, keeping your inbox clean.
