Respond Automatically to X Posts
This template automates searching X.com (formerly Twitter) for a keyword, extracts top tweets, and saves them to a Google Sheet. For each new tweet, it uses AI to generate a response draft, helping you quickly engage with relevant conversations.
This automation acts as your social media monitoring assistant. Here's how it works:
- Performs a Search: It begins by navigating to X.com and searching for the topic or keyword you specify.
- Extracts Top Tweets: The automation identifies and extracts the most recent tweets from the search results, capturing key information like the tweet's text, author, engagement statistics (likes and retweets), and a direct link.
- Avoids Duplicates: It intelligently checks a Google Sheet that you provide to see if a tweet has already been captured, ensuring you only process new content.
- Generates AI Drafts: For each new tweet, it uses an advanced AI model to compose a draft reply. You can choose a style for the reply, such as a "professional disagreement" to challenge assumptions respectfully or a "supportive question" to encourage discussion.
- Saves for Review: Finally, it saves all the information—the original tweet data and the newly generated AI response draft—into a new row in your Google Sheet, ready for your review and approval.
